How to process a Tuition Assistance Request (TAR)?

Branch of Service	TA Policy - Must be approved by	Getting Started Service Portals

军队	One week before classes begin	军队-eligible active and reserve members must submit their tuition assistance request through 军队IgnitED before the term start date.
空军	One week before classes begin	Active-duty 空军 and 空间力量 members should apply for Tuition Assistance through their 空军 Portal account at the 空军 Virtual Education Center site.
Coast Guard	One week before classes begin	申请 Coast Guard Tuition Assistance (TA) benefits.
Marine Corps	One day before classes begin	Learn more about the Marine Corps process to request tuition assistance (TA). Marine Corps request TA through the WebTA website (login required).
海军	One week before classes begin	Learn more about the Sailors' process to request tuition assistance (TA).
空间力量	One week before classes begin	空间力量 members should apply for Tuition Assistance through the 空军 Portal account at the 空军 Virtual Education Center site.

If you don't find the term you need within your TA portal, you are likely trying to request TA either before the window for that term has opened or after it has 关闭d.
Please note: The deadline to add a course is 5 PM CST on the Wednesday of the first week of classes. The deadline to drop for a 100% refund is 5 PM CST on the Friday of the first week of classes.
