The 成人教育 concentration in the graduate program is designed to provide professional preparation for students pursuing careers as administrators and supervisors of adult learning activities, human resource and staff development professionals, continuing and community education instructors, military educators and teachers of adults in a variety of institutions and settings.

Through rigorous coursework and practical learning experiences, students advance their understanding of adult learners with special emphasis on the changes occurring in adult life and their affect the teaching-learning process and community impact.

Degree plans for a master's degree with a concentration in 成人教育:

The Master of Arts in 成人教育 degree requires completion of 36 semester hours of coursework, 24 of which must be in education. The degree is appropriate for students applying coursework not designated as an education course.

Area of Concentration within Education (6 hours)

This Master of Education in 成人教育 degree is designed for students completing all coursework in education. The degree requires completion of 36 semester hours of coursework based upon the graduate core curriculum and the area of concentration.

Through the 成人教育 certificate program, students can prepare for roles in adult learning activities administration, human resource and staff development, continuing and community education, military education and teachers of adults.

The certificate program at 校本 is not applicable to Texas Teaching Certification or any state professional certification program.
